3rd week

This week we started on our forest floor we were all making trees and it slowly turned into a fast paced tallest tree competition, the highest tree got up To my waist was an obvious winner, Luke. After that we had an Interval we had a task to make our yr 4 buddies program the NXTS to follow a line with our help. Our group got it to follow the line first, so we helped some other groups and the day practically flowed through to the end of the robot day. The trip back Was horrible we got drenched and was freezing for the rest of the day.

2nd week

The second trip to BS on the way my buddy fell of his bike so I went by myself. We met up with our Yr 4 buddies. We had to make the robot go to the line then we got the challenge. We had to make the robot do a a figure of eight around two milk bottles that was hard. After morning tea we started to make the forest floor. Here is a movie of what it looks like.

First Robo day

Today we biked to B.S. we got our group and we completed a challenge of programing the NXT robots without the computers and made them go round an obstacle. Andre and I felt stupid when we got out-smarted by 8 year olds. We are going back next week with the robots to do another challenge and learn more about the robots.
